Mr. R had an argument with his ex-girlfriend when went to pick up his little daughter. During the argument, his ex-girlfriend spat in his face. Mr. R pushed her away to prevent her from doing it again. She claimed that Mr. R punched her in the face for no reason. We obtained the 911 tapes and police reports which showed that the ex-girlfriend was lying. Finding of Not Guilty.

Mr. R was charged with striking his ex-girlfriend in the face several times, choking her, and choking her new boyfriend. I obtained phone records and subpoenaed witnesses to court. At trial I showed that the ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend were lying and Mr. R was found Not Guilty.

Mr. C’s uncle claimed that our client pushed him in the chest in a parking lot and caused bodily harm. At trial, we presented evidence that the uncle was in a property fight with our client’s mother and had a motive to lie. In addition, we had a witness lined up to testify that our client was no where near the uncle at the time of the alleged battery. During the trial the allegations were shown to be false and the case was thrown out. FINDING OF NOT GUILTY.

Chicago Police were called to Mr. M’s home because of a domestic dispute. When the police arrived, Mr. M’s wife told the police that he had an AK-47 in the apartment. At trial I was able to keep out that statement and show that the gun did not belong to Mr. M. A jury found him Not Guilty

Chicago Police officers claimed to have received a call of a person with a gun. When the officers arrived at area of 80th and Halsted, they said that Mr. C turned his body and quickly removed his hands from his pockets. The officers then searched him and found a blue steel semi-automatic with defaced serial numbers. I filed a motion to suppress evidence because the officers did not have probable cause to search Mr C. The judge agreed case Dismissed.
