Illegal search in a high crime area
May 25, 2017 8:08 pmPossession of a Controlled Substance
DISMISSED
Bridgeview Court Room 104
Chicago Police officers stopped and search our client near 159 E. 120th Street because they claim he was loitering in an area known for drug sales and they claimed that they felt a gun on him. At a motion to suppress evidence I proved that the officer was lying about feeling a gun. The judge agreed that there was no reason to go in his pockets and the case was dimissed.
