Firm Case Number: 2010-05-779
Armed Habitual Criminal
DISMISSED

Bridgeview Courthouse
Chicago police arrested Mr. R for a gun after he had previously been convicted of rape and unlawful possession of a gun. At a hearing on a motion to suppress evidence, I proved that the police officer illegally entered Mr. R’s garage to search him. This search violated Mr. R’s constitutional rights which meant that the gun could not be used as evidence against Mr. R. The case was dismissed.
