Criminal Sexual Assault
DISMISSED
26th & California, Chicago

Chicago police falsely accused Mr. G of forcing his step-daughter to have intercourse with him. Attorney Levinsohn investigaged the step-daughter’s Facebook records and interviewed the mother of the accuser. I determined that the step-daughter had lied about the accusations and when I confronted the step-daughter she said on video that she lied to the police. The case was dismissed. I then had a DCFS hearing and overturned the false charges of abuse. Finally, I had the case expunged.

The police claimed that he made secretive movements after being pulled over. During the search they found a gun. At a motion to suppress evidence we proved to the judge that the search was illegal. The gun was thrown out and the case was dismissed.

Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
NOT GUILTY

Mr. R is a licensed armed security guard who was wrongly accused of carrying his weapon while not commuting to work. At trial I proved to the judge that Mr. R was on his way back from his job site and that it was his employer that mixed up the schedule. The judge ruled that Mr. R was allowed to have a gun with him in the car and that the police had to give the gun back to Mr. R. Not Guilty.
