Mr. B was being investigated by the JC Penney Organized Retail Crime team for 8 months before he stopped at the Ford City Mall. Sheriff’s deputies found over $3200.00 worth of merchandise from JC Penney, Kohl’s, and Macy’s in his trunk. At trial Attorney Levinsohn used the security video to prove that Mr. B had not left the JC Penney store with any merchandise and there were no security tags on the other merchandise to prove that they were stolen. Finding of Not Guilty..

The Chicago Police pulled Mr. I over for a traffic violation. Because he did not have a license or insurance he was arrested and the car was searched. Behind the dashboard in the radio space the police found cocaine. We obtained the vehicle records and showed that Mr. I only owned the car for few days and did not have knowledge of what was behind the dashboard. Finding of Not Guilty.

Mr. G was accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend for a period of 5 years and confronting her at a coffee shop. I interviewed two employees of the coffee shop who denied that there was a confrontation. I showed the judge that Mr. G was not stalking anyone. He was simply in his neighborhood coffee shop ordering something to drink. Finding of Not Guilty.

By cross-examining the landlord, I showed that she was not credible and that the accusations were false. I showed the judge that the landlord was trying to get back at Ms. A for moving out early.
