University of Chicago Police claimed that Mr. M ran from them and tossed a gun into an empty lot near 61st and Cottage Grove. He was arrested 2 hours later on a CTA bus and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Attorney Levinsohn cross-examined the officers who gave conflicting testimony and showed that it was a case of mistaken identity.
