People v. Confidential 1099

Chicago Police investigated a burglary and found Mr. Y’s fingerprints on the victim’s property found in the alley. At trial, we proved that the property had been in the alley for almost 11 hours before it was recovered by the police, that the alley was a public way, that under controlling case law the evidence was not enough to convict Mr. Y. Finding of NOT GUILTY.
