Mr. J’s ex-girlfriend claimed that he called her and threatened to kill her. At trial the ex added more lies to her story. I subpoenaed her telephone records and the police officers who took the initial report. I showed the judge that she delayed calling the police for hours and the discrepancies with the initial report. Finding of Not Guilty.
