Chicago Police Officers were patrolling in the area of 82nd and Marquette when they came up to Mr. M. He and another person were in the car fixing the radio. The police claimed that once the officers got out of their car, walked over and were standing next to Mr. M that Mr. M then threw a gun into an open glove compartment. At a hearing on a motion to suppress, Attorney Levinsohn proved that the officers lied and they actual searched the closed glove compartment without probable cause. The motion was granted and the case was Dismissed.
