Mr. B was being investigated by the JC Penney Organized Retail Crime team for 8 months before he stopped at the Ford City Mall. Sheriff’s deputies found over $3200.00 worth of merchandise from JC Penney, Kohl’s, and Macy’s in his trunk. At trial Attorney Levinsohn used the security video to prove that Mr. B had not left the JC Penney store with any merchandise and there were no security tags on the other merchandise to prove that they were stolen.
