Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapon
Chicago Police officers claimed to have received a call of a person with a gun. When the officers arrived at area of 80th and Halsted, they said that Mr. C turned his body and quickly removed his hands from his pockets. The officers then searched him and found a blue steel semi-automatic with defaced serial numbers. I filed a motion to suppress evidence because the officers did not have probable cause to search Mr C. The judge agreed case Dismissed.
