The Chicago Police claimed that Mr. C was attending a vigil for a gang member who was shot when he had a Smith & Wesson .380 pistol with 6 live rounds in his pocket. At a motion to suppress, I proved that the police officer did not have probable cause to come up to Mr. C and search him in front of his home. The court agreed case Dismissed.
