Jennifer B. Wagner
Jennifer B. Wagner is a 2011 graduate of Chicago’s John Marshall Law School, where she spent her senior year clerking in the Felony Trial Division of the Cook County Public Defender’s Office. Immediately following admission to the Illinois Bar Jennifer began her own criminal defense and traffic practice, J.B. Wagner Law, which operated for five years. During the course of her solo career Jennifer successfully litigated hundreds of criminal, DUI, and traffic matters and expunged dozens of criminal records. In 2014 Jennifer was nominated for the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Young Lawyer Award, in 2015 she was a featured speaker at the Illinois State Bar Association’s DUI and Traffic Law Updates seminar in Springfield, IL, and in 2018 she completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s intensive Building Trial Skills training program in New Orleans, LA.
In 2017 Jennifer accepted an Associate position with one of her mentors, Michael J. Levinsohn, where she rapidly expanded her felony courtroom experience. In 2018 Mr. Levinsohn joined forces with the well-reputed defense attorney Marc E. Gottreich, and now Jennifer’s professional growth opportunities in Chicagoland’s criminal courtrooms have no limits. She enjoys the challenges of applying her courtroom skills to assist those in need every day. Nothing satisfies Jennifer more than getting clients the resolutions to their cases they want and deserve. She is a protective, skilled advocate who is particularly talented in communication and negotiation with prosecutors and other court personnel.
Jennifer is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
